Product Manager
AMP Dynamic is an AI-native holding company that builds and acquires software businesses solving real-world problems. AutoSignal is our platform modernizing how used auto parts businesses operate, from vehicle intake and inventory to compatibility data, listing, and fulfillment.
As Product Manager for AutoSignal, you own the roadmap and the outcomes. You talk to customers, find the highest-leverage problems, and work with engineering and design to ship software that moves the business. This is a hands-on PM role on an early-stage product, not a process-management seat. It is based in Charlotte, NC on a hybrid schedule, and some travel is required to visit customers and partners (fully compensated).
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap and priorities for AutoSignal, grounded in customer reality
- Talk to used auto parts businesses constantly to understand their workflows and problems
- Get out into the field: some travel is required to visit customers and partners, and it is fully covered
- Turn ambiguity into clear, well-scoped, shippable work
- Partner closely with engineering and design to ship fast and iterate
- Define and track the metrics that matter, and use data to decide what to build next
- Work AI-native: use AI tools to research, prototype, analyze, and move faster across the whole product process
- Own outcomes end to end, from discovery to launch to adoption
Who you are
- You've shipped real software products and can show the impact you drove
- You're deeply customer-obsessed and comfortable in the field, even in a hands-on industry like auto parts
- You genuinely care about cars and understand them. If you're a motorhead, that's a big win
- You think in systems and outcomes, not just features
- You've embraced AI tools but you're not dependent on them. You bring the judgment and product sense
- You're scrappy, fast, and decisive in an early-stage environment
Who this role is not for
We like to be upfront about fit, because we're looking for a specific kind of person.
- This is not an entry-level role. If you're just starting out or don't yet have real experience, this particular role isn't the right fit
- It's not for someone who needs constant hand-holding or rigid structure. You should be able to take an ambiguous problem and figure it out quickly
- It's not for someone who leans on AI to do the thinking for them and ships work they can't explain or stand behind
- It's not for someone who feels they're done learning. We want people with real experience who still push to get better every day
Benefits and work environment
We believe great work happens when talented people are trusted, supported, and given the right tools to perform at a high level. We value autonomy, ownership, and thoughtful execution.
- 41 days of paid time off per year across vacation, holidays, and personal time, and we encourage the team to fully disconnect and recharge
- Flexible start times and a hybrid schedule, with a focus on results and accountability over rigid structure
- Best-in-class equipment and tools: modern hardware, premium software, and whatever you need to perform at a high level
- An AI-native workplace that actively encourages modern AI tools to amplify research, prototyping, and execution. The goal is to equip talented people, not replace them
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of product management experience shipping software. This is not an entry-level role
- A track record of shipping products that moved real metrics
- Strong customer discovery and communication skills
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and designers in a fast loop
- Data-literate: you can define metrics and use them to prioritize
- Willing to travel periodically to visit customers and partners (travel is fully covered)
- AI-native: you use modern AI tools across research, prototyping, and analysis, and you know their limits
- You care about cars and understand them. Real automotive knowledge is a major plus, and if you're a motorhead, even better
- Bonus: experience with marketplaces, ecommerce, or B2B SaaS
